At Topfell, we also focus on the bi-products of our business: we sell the timber as firewood logs; the wood chips as garden mulch; and we handle the milling of planks to the size and specification on site for the client’s use or for sale to a third party. Topfell also creates custom-designed indoor and outdoor furniture, which beautiful pieces are unique works of art and competitively priced.
Bi-Products from Tree Felling
Topfell will do a superb job of felling your unwanted tree; and at an additional cost the client has the opportunity of keeping any of the bi-products of the tree(s). These bi-products include:
Wood Chip Mulch
Not only does mulch encourage growth, it reduces water consumption by up to 75% and it regulates soil temperature and slowly fertilizes your plants. A must for all gardens!
Planking
The milling of planks to the size and specification for the client’s use can be done on site or at our preferred contractor.
Firewood
For those wonderful braais in summer; and for that warm and inviting fireplace in the cold winter months!

Topfell's Firewood for Sale
Topfell has a huge assortment of large pieces of quality hard woods that are long and slow burning, and perfect for winter fires and braais. These hard woods are super dry and burn with a clear blue flame and no smoke. Perfect for combustion stoves and open fires.
• Bakkie load of 650-700 pieces is R2500.
• Half bakkie load of 350-400 pieces is R1500.
• Bags of 15-20 large pieces is R60.
• Truckloads are approx 2500 large pieces. This is an excellent deal. Please call for pricing.
Topfell has a large quantity of quality Namibian Kameeldoring, which is another favourite all-rounder braai wood due to its dry density. This amazing hardwood has become a popular choice for those using closed combustion stoves and glass-fronted fireplaces.
Topfell also sells old grape vines, another hardwood that is extremely dense and when burnt will give tremendous heat over a long period of time with a ton of flavour! These can be used for grilling, hot smoking and in wood fired ovens.
